Deep Tissue

Target the inner layers of muscle to dissolve chronic tension and “stuck” tissues.

Deep Relief for Persistent Pain

For those who carry the weight of the world in their shoulders or lower back, Deep Tissue Massage offers a more intensive solution. We go beyond the surface to address the root causes of muscle stiffness and limited mobility.

Corrective Bodywork

Deep Tissue isn’t just about “hard” pressure; it’s about “smart” pressure. By focusing on the deep layers of muscle and connective tissue (fascia), our therapists work to break up adhesions the painful “knots” that interfere with circulation and cause inflammation.

The Key Benefits

  • Chronic Pain Management: Highly effective for lower back pain, stiff necks, and sore shoulders.

  • Increased Mobility: Loosens tight tissue to help you move more freely and comfortably.

  • Postural Alignment: Helps correct imbalances caused by long hours of sitting or driving.

  • Blood Pressure Support: Studies show that deep tissue work can help reduce heart rate and blood pressure.

What Your Session Looks Like

The therapist will use slow, deliberate strokes and deep finger pressure. You may be asked to breathe deeply as the therapist works on specific areas of tension. It is a more communicative session where you and the therapist work together to find the right depth.

FAQs

Does Deep Tissue massage hurt?

You may feel some "therapeutic discomfort" when we work on a knot, but it should never be unbearable. Always speak up if the pressure is too much.

Can I get this if I have a low pain tolerance?

We recommend starting with our Swedish massage first to see how your body responds to touch.

Will I be sore the next day?

It is common to feel a bit tender for 24–48 hours, similar to the feeling after a good workout. Drinking water helps!
